iZone NT is digitally imaged high pressure laminate. We like to call it DHPL. It is made by layering a digital print, melamine sheets and phenolic resin sheets for the core. These sheets are pressed in a special press at high heat and pressure for an extended period of time. While under pressure it is allowed to cool. As the melamine resin melts, it absorbs the print and all materials are consolidated into one single piece of thermoset plastic.
iZone NT is the perfect material for all types of interior signs and graphic elements, furniture, wall murals and displays. NT comes in thin stock, to be glued to horizontal or vertical surfaces, and is very popular in exhibit and display construction. NT also comes in thick stocks, 1/16" to 1", for use in shaped and freestanding elements.
Extremely versatile, iZone NT can be cut to any shape, double-faced, drilled through, bevelled, bull-nosed and surface mounted with just about anything. It has been used in a variety of interior applications for many industries including museums, zoos and aquariums, retail stores, corporate offices, health care and educational facilities, to name a few.
