Muzeiko is the first-ever Children’s Museum in Bulgaria. Funded by the America for Bulgaria Foundation. The 35,000-square-foot facility contains three levels and more than 130 hands-on, educational exhibits to enhance young minds with science, engineering, ecology, communications, and the arts.
Lead architect and exhibit designers at Lee H. Skolnick Architecture + Design Partnership (LHSA+DP) created the building concept, site planning, architectural design, interpretive planning/exhibition and interior design. The prime exhibit fabricator/exhibition project manager, Maltbie, chose iZone’s Custom High Pressure Laminate (CHPL) as the material of choice for several of the interactive exhibit displays.
Grace Hutton, Director of Graphic Services at Maltbie, said “We chose iZone because these elements were going to be handled and touched frequently and the CHPL product was a durable and economical choice.”
